Donnie Hoyle Says You Suck At Photoshop

Donnie Hoyle thinks you suck at Photoshop, so he’s offering some hilarious tutorials to sharpen your ’shop skillz. In the videos below he covers distortion, warp and layer effects, covering your mistakes, the clone stamp tool and manual cloning and paths and masks.

Note these videos may be NSFW and contain a few odd profanities, so make sure there are no kids around or your boss is not in earshot.

Ski Lucky Fruit

There’s a tasty yogurt down here in the land of Oz that’s got everyone licking their lips: Ski by Dairy Farmers. I’ve tried this yogurt myself, and while I’m not a huge fan of yogurt - this made me reconsider my avoidance of yogurt altogether. Along with the yummy yogurt, on the site you’ll find free downloads, some funny short videos (Pulped Fiction), the TV adverts with a great design to top it all off. The site requires flash to view, but if you turn JavaScript off in your browser you will see the HTML version. There’s even nutritional information on there for the calorie conscious, which can be found under the ‘Lucky Fruit’ link. So view the Ski Lucky Fruit website and get hooked on Ski yogurt!

OpenDesigns.org is Back!

After having been MIA for a month, OpenDesigns.org are back on the Open Source design scene. Everything’s still the same and everyone’s still there; so why not head on back if you’re a current member or join if you’re not? They have an active forum which you can post asking for help or critique on just about anything (or just post about whatever you want, really. Just keep it in the rules). You can submit your XHTML/CSS designs where the whole world can download them and you can gain some sort of satisfaction you’ve helped someone out there in cyberspace. Why not go check it out?
