Since my last rant about PayPerPost, a few things have changed:
- PayPerPost is now known as IZEA (read more)
- Name changes apparently now make your company more idiotic.
If you remember from my previous PayPerPost Rage post, I was trying to get a sponsored post approved. I fixed up every possible factor negatively affecting it’s approval under the sun; yet here I am again today to tell you the next stupid reason in the long list of why the same post was rejected. I kid you not with this reason:
Thank you for your interest in PPP. Before we can approve any paid post you must make sure there are dates individually stamped to each separate post. This allows us to verify post date authenticity.
Thanks,
P @ PPP
Firstly, who the hell is this P guy? Why is a letter assigned to approving my post, whatever happened to Crystal? Anyway, the reason stated is: Make sure post dates are stamped individually to each post. I think the idea behind this opportunity was to actually infuriate bloggers, not necessarily make them want to use PayPerPost’s service again. I have never had an issue with dates not being individually stamped, so why bother now?
This makes me wonder if sponsored blogging is even worth the headache.
