Today it has dropped to 1,122,000. That is a drop of 6.6 million. The weekly figure were being updated for the past 2 weeks. The drop had been visible in the 3 month change box for some time. Gives the impression that the 3 monthly figures is updated monthly! It was still at 7,792,000 two days ago.

In mid August my site had an alexa rank of 4,696,000. Just after mid September in dropped to 7,983,000. So I decided to install the Alexa Toolbar. I thought the Alexa ranking was for the site and not individual pages, yet the toolbar was displaying a rank of 4,696,000 for most pages but displaying 7,983,000 for 2 menu pages. Few days later all pages dropped to 7,983,000. What happened? Now it is just stuck at 7,792,000, although the weekly data is moving in the right direction. Strangely enough http://www.whois.sc/ is showing my Alexa rank as 361,000. Hoping that things come back to some normality soon. Certainly agree.
