So here it is; the dreaded to-do list. I would normally put this in a page of it’s own, but due to the pages not showing issue (and the possible fix), I’ve had to put it into a single post which I will mark as Noteworthy. This simply will make this the post that always shows at the top of the blog before the newer posts.
So here we go, and in no particular order, I present to you my to-do list:
Fix the page not showing issueGet Feedburner to display full text feeds. For some strange reason Feedburner has decided to stop showing full text feeds in my RSS Feed and I’ve had complaints, so that’s certainly on the list. I just can’t seem to find the option in my Feed Administration panel so if anyone can point me in the right direction, thanks!- Clean up my sidebar code as it’s rather messy at this present moment. This could even span into a full code cleanup
- Edit/cleanup certain plugins, namely two things: 1) remove the RSS Subscribe reminder from the sidenotes. I originally thought this would be a simple thing but it has proved a pain so far 2) Fix the Adhesive plugin (which allows me to make posts ‘Sticky’) to stop it from showing Sticky posts at the top of the Sidenotes when they are not meant to be shown there. Maybe also investigate why the posts that should be Sticky aren’t showing above the rest of the posts like they’re meant to.
- Cleanup unwanted plugins, categories etc. within the Administration interface
- Go through each post and properly tag and categorise them as I often forget to place posts in a category when posting, so most end up in the ‘Uncategorized’ category
- Get some new traffic flowing through/new readers. This is always a goal for every website owner or blogger. So I’ll be looking to get some more advertising out into the interweb through some small side projects I’m taking on with other bloggers.
There’s probably something I’ve forgotten so this list will expand and shrink over time. I will cross off the completed things and maybe we will see some progress over time. (Hopefully not alot of time, I tend to lack, err.. motivation sometimes).
If you’re looking to do a good deed, why not help out with one of the above problems? Even if it is a very small thing, all help is greatly appreciated.
